I have the Worrier XL and it came with the insulation liner. I have not used the liner as of yet but have camped in the tent and love it. I went to the Glendale, AZ location and the installed it on my Jeep. They were very helpful in answering all my questions the installation when quick and smoothly. Very happy with the product so far just can’t wait to use the insulation liner in the winter months.
So far, so good! I just received my order a few days ago and I started desensitizing my dog to the ramp almost immediately. I figured it would take a few days to get her into the roof top tent, as she is a more cautious pup. However, to my surprise (and with a lot of treats and praise), she made it up into the tent within 2 hours of focused training. We're still working on her confidence with coming back down but this ramp has been incredibly useful already! While she is still small enough to be carried up and down, she is quickly approaching her teen months and is catching up with growth. This will be immensely useful going forward for when she is too big to be carried. The material is really durable and the system for attaching it to the ladder is simple, quick, and effective. The ramp is really sturdy! I'm looking forward to many future camping trips!
I was skeptical and turned off by the price, but this works! My dog—Addie, a 45 pound, year and a half old Australian Cattle Dog mix—took to the Doggo ramp almost immediately. I put the foot of the ladder on some storage boxes I take with us while camping, then I went up into the tent with a bag of treats while my wife stayed at the bottom, also with some treats. We put some treats at the bottom, middle, and top of the ladder, and by the third try, Addie was a pro at going up and down the Doggo ramp. It takes her about two seconds to go up or down the ramp, and she's not hesitant at all. Ironically, our Doggo arrived right after our Memorial Day trip. On that trip, and previous trips, I'd have to stand on my truck tailgate, awkwardly lift Addie up for my wife to grab and pull her into the tent. Getting Addie down was even trickier than up. I know our next trips will be much, much easier. My wife, who is much more frugal than me, has a more succinct review: "Money well spent."
I’ve been trying to find the best way to get my 60lb Pit bull in and out of my RTT safely for the both of us, I’m only 5’2” and I’m not able to carry him up and down. He also is too afraid jump out of the window of the tent to my tailgate. I came across the Doggo RTT Ramp, and thought it was a really good idea. Initially I thought it was super expensive for what it was. I automatically thought “I could just make that.” So I looked into it, looked at fabric and how to attach it so the fabric wouldn’t sink too much between the rungs etc. After some research I came to the realization that this is stupid and too hard just buy the damn thing. So I purchased the Doggo ramp. I’m glad I did. It’s constructed really well, all the buckles and bungees are really heavy duty. There’s also a big metal plate up top that holds the fabric in place on the top rung. Long story short, just buy it, my dog loves running up and down it, it came fast and I would still be trying to “make” a crappier version unsuccessfully, instead of going camping with my best friend.
Excellent customer service, no mentioning the quality of the tent. I tried it last night for the first time and it is actually better than the pictures. I set it up and down literally in one minute, and I slept like a rock in a very spacious mattress (I am 6'2"). They offer lifetime warrantee and the staff members were extremely nice and helpful. I recommend this tent above all.
Everyone was so helpful and professional, even though they couldn’t mount for me because I didn’t bring everything I needed, they made sure I understood what to do and give me multiple resources to reach them if I had any questions with what to do! Wouldn’t want to do business with anyone else.
Only received part of order. Have been trying to contact representatives by telephone, email and messenger the last 2 days with no response. Please respond! Update: response was received on Tuesday and rest of order was shipped and received on Friday. Thanks for your prompt response.
I wanted to give it some time before I reviewed this product to give it some use and a chance to prove itself to me. After purchasing an iKamper mini, I researched ways to get my very active 40lb Lab into the tent. She's super smart, and adventurous, so I assumed she'd be good at climbing a ladder. Nope... I tried for weeks to get her to climb the regular ladder before the RTT arrived, but to no avail. When the iKamper arrived, I tried lifting her, but no matter which way we tried, it just didn't work. I tried buying collapsable steps (thinking she would jump the rest of the way) and that didn't work. I saw the Doggo RTT Ramp mentioned on a Facebook group by another user, and decided to try it out. At this point we were camping in 2 weeks and I begged Desert Armor to try to get it to me on time. Not only did the product arrive on-time, but my dog was able to use it on the first try!! I have since built a custom box that the ladder props up on (doubles as a storage bin while traveling and a short table to use during the day). When it's time to go to bed, she knows and gets excited to go up as I set up the ramp. Up she goes and I push it to the side for the night then setup and back down she goes in the morning. So easy I wish I had known about this in the beginning.
Well designed and connects to the ladder well. Our dog doesn't love it but he's not a big fan of heights. Going to strap it to another ladder and do some training at a less intense angle. Knocked a star off for the price; can almost get a whole ramp for the cost of this ladder cover.
This is just what we needed. Great quality and craftsmanship. I made sure to get the Side D-Rings & Bungee cords. I would suggest the same. We trained our dog starting at small inclines and with lots of treats. I do wish there was a little more texture but not deal breaker. Would definitely recommend.
I love this tent. Set up is pretty easy and quick, as is the break down. Held up well in adverse weather, i.e. heavy rain and strong winds. I was very happy to have the LED lights underneath and inside the tent. That came in handy for sure! I love the low profile, seems pretty aerodynamic, and looks great when it's set up!
Love the tent, would be cool if the parts were labeled (meaning the extra ones in the bag) and how to install the insulations/awning (have not tried it yet), yes, it can be figured out, but a quick little pamphlet showing would have been awesome. The controller didn't work but you guys have sent a new one.
I have yet to install these. But I am so impressed with their customer service. I emailed asking them to add the wiring harness to my order, which Eric clarified I needed to get the mounts instead. Their response time is SO FAST! He added them to my order for me and it came within 4-5 days. Thank you for making the process efficient and easy for your customers:)
The beast earns its name. It’s a bigger air compressor than most, but packs a punch. My old single viair compressor toook me roughly 25-35 min to air up my 295/70r17 tires. With the beast that usually takes me 8-15 min. I am going to do a video comparison soon, overall great compressor for The money. Hands down my favorite purchase.
Did not want to buy an iKamper, this was the better option for me. I was able to customize my tent fabric to specific colors that I wanted and the customer service was probably the main reason I decided to go with DA. The team is amazing and the products are as expected. The warrior is a perfect all around tent for someone looking to get into a hardshell.
I started my tent search with 3 very important items the tent manufacturer must meet. Cost, durability and customer service. Cost. I had a number in mind and in my months of research I found the Warrior to be the most bang for my money. The Warrior has a similar design and features to their high end competitors but without the added cost of paying for the "name recognition" of the competitors. Durability. I use my equipment as intended and a bit rough on it as well. The hard shell has seen some abuse going through thick brush and still looks new today. Recent trip had a freak wind storm come through and the Warrior didn't budge - the velcro around the windows kept things tight and secure. Great nights sleep! Customer Service...And finally the most important aspect of this purchase are the people behind this product. They USE the products they sell. Find them on IG and you'll see what I mean. They also stand behind the products they sell. They are friendly and willing to help when and where they can. This is a 10 star rated tent with 10 star rated owners. I'm glad to be part of the Desert Armor family. I truly believe you would too. Keep up the great work DA!
Checked lots of brands and found Desert Armor. Not only was the price in the range I was looking to spend, but the options that came with the tent were unlike any other brands out there. The tent came with a nice anti condensed mat, shoe bag and accessory bag. The built in LED lights inside and outside were such a cool addition and help a lot and night when hanging out by the fire. Love the tent, and the customer service is top notch. Had an issue with a latch being damaged from shipper and DA sent a new one out to me as soon as I told them about the issue. A+ tent. A+ customer service. A+ company. Would buy again.
